Board washing powder of Mayeri is the most fabric-friendly washing powder. Six different washing powders participated in the test: Ariel, Bonux, Mayeri, Omo, Persil and Tide. Riga Technical University and Latvian Consumer Protection Board studied characters of washing powders for both white and coloured clothes in case of every brand.

In total washing powders were tested with 38 most commonly used materials. Aggregated results determine that best washing qualities have washing powders of Ariel and Mayeri, yet Mayeri outperformed considerably all the other washing powders in terms of fabric-friendliness.
